| Clarence Mark Lodge 447 held an emergency meeting on Monday 5th February to Advance a new member. The reason for the additional meeting was quite simply time and the eagerness of the candidate to feel “The Magic of the Mark” for himself. | |

| The next regular meeting of the lodge is scheduled for March when yet another candidate will join Clarence. With the Installation in October, it would be December 2024 before Bro Stephen Madden Buchanan would have been able to join us. So why deny a keen, young man the opportunity to take his next important masonic step now? | |
| Being an emergency meeting, the numbers attending were not at their peak but the WM, Bro John Gibbon enlisted the help and assistance of our neighbouring Mark lodge, Wilbraham 523, in the persons of W Bros Ian Rowan and Neil Pedder to ensure a full team where mustered for the occasion. | |
| The WM handed over the Chair of Adoniram to W Bro Alan Lowe who conducted an excellent and heartfelt Advancement. | |
| W Bro Steve McNee delivered a welcome letter to Stephen from the RW PGM and assured him that when Stephen attends the PGL in Blackpool on 02nd May, he should make himself known to the Brethren identified in the letter. They don’t bite! Usually. | |
| Comments from Stephen at the festive board following the meeting included how much he enjoyed the ceremony and how he felt welcomed by all. He is now looking forward to the next meeting to witness what he just went through. | |
